1. GENERAL QUESTIONS
How soon will I receive my goods?
All goods are packed and despatched within 48 hours of receipt and sent by standard class post from the Channel Islands. Please allow up to 21 days for delivery to UK addresses.
How are orders for multiple items dispatched?
In the case of more than one item being ordered to the UK mainland, each item is sent individually as this is the most cost-efficient for the customer. For example, a 3 month supply of SIMBA™ will be sent out as 3 separate packages.
What are the standard packing rates? How much does it cost to send orders abroad?
See "Terms & Conditions" - "Shipping & Handling". We are happy to ship worldwide and our postage rates are based on the different geographic zones according to Guernsey Post.
Where are the products prepared?
All remedies are prepared by a fully qualified pharmacist in southern Africa.
Are any of the products unsuitable for use in pregnancy?
We advise mothers not to take SIMBA™ or FILISA™ whilst pregnant or breastfeeding. Similarly, use of KUSWERA ZURO™ is to be avoided as this contains an extract from the African potato tuber.
What is you returns policy?
If there is any dissatisfaction with our herbal supplements (SIMBA™ & FILISA™) then we accept these items for refunds. We will accept unopened items that are returned within 7 days of customer receipt and with the seal intact.
Due to the nature of our other items we cannot accept returned creams and do not offer refunds on these. This applies to THEMBA™, KUSWERA ZURO™, OSHANA™ and the PIMPLE PACK.
When I start using your products could the condition I am treating get worse before it gets better?
In a small percentage of people, a healing crisis, also known as the "Herxheimer Reaction" may occur. This is a reaction that occurs when the body tries to eliminate toxins at a faster rate than they can be properly disposed of. The more toxic one's bodily systems are, the more severe the healing crisis.
It can characterized by a temporary increase in symptoms which may be mild or severe. You may feel worse, or your skin may look worse,and therefore conclude that the treatment is not working. But these reactions are instead signs that the treatment IS working and that your body is going through the process of cleaning itself of impurities, toxins and imbalances before it can begin to heal.
Such reactions are temporary and can occur immediately -- or within several days, or even after several weeks. Symptoms usually pass within 1-3 days.
Cause:
The healing crisis is the result of every body system, in concert, working to eliminate waste products through all elimination channels and set the stage for regeneration. The end result: old tissues are replaced with new.
When any treatment or cleansing program causes a large scale die-off of bacteria, a significant amount of endotoxins (toxins within the bacteria itself) are released into the body. The more bacteria present, and the stronger their endotoxins, the stronger the cleansing reaction.
When any treatment causes the organs of the body (particularly the liver, which is a storehouse of drug and poison residues) to release their stored poisons and toxins, a cleansing reaction may occur. Very rarely this may include a loosening of the bowel.

2. ONLINE SHOPPING QUESTIONS
I cannot add an item to the shopping cart. Why?
In some instances, the default settings on your web browser may not permit the acceptance and use of cookies on your computer. Since the online shop relies on a cookie to track the item(s) you require, a change to the settings is advisable to enable the shopping cart to work.

I have come back to your web site and see that there are items in my cart from a previous visit. How do I remove them?
You can either go to the checkout page and remove them here by setting the quantity to zero and clicking 'update'. Note that the cookie expiry time is set to 1 hour so we expect no cookies to be remaining after this time.
In the unusual situation of having items still appearing in your cart, then you must delete the temporary internet files. For example, in Internet Explorer, choose "Tools" --> "Internet Options" and then delete temporary internet files. Resfresh and/or restart the web browser.

2. QUESTIONS ABOUT SIMBA™
Are the SIMBA™ capsules suitable for vegetarians?
Yes, the capsules are “veggie caps” and contain no animal products.
Can SIMBA™ be taken during pregnancy?
We advise mothers not to take this product whilst pregnant because their immune systems have temporarily been altered to allow acceptance of the foetus. Do not take SIMBA™ whilst breastfeeding either as it may be passed to the baby through the milk.
Is SIMBA™ safe for children to take?
Ordinarily, SIMBA™ should not be taken by children under 16 years of age as their immune systems are still maturing.
How should I take my SIMBA™?
On an empty stomach, preferably 1 hour before food or 2 hours after meals. We recommend a minimum course of 3-6 months for all immune/autoimmune conditions.
Why is it important to take SIMBA™ on an empty stomach?
The presence of starch will inhibit the absorbtion of the active African Potato Tuber and hence lessen the efficacy.
Are there any conditions when it is not advisable to take SIMBA™?
Yes, for those who are recovering from solid organ/bone marrow transplants and during pregnancy or breast feeding.
Are there any side effects from taking SIMBA™?
There are no known adverse effects.
Can SIMBA™ be taken with other herbal remedies or medication?
There is no known adverse interaction with other medicines. It can be taken with herbal medicines like Sutherlandia, for instance, and conventional medicines too. The only real exceptions are immune-boosting substances like Echinacea.
What do people order SIMBA™ for?

How long should I take SIMBA™ for?
We recommend a minimum period of 3-6 months at full dosage for immune and auto-immune conditions. Please contact us if you have any specific questions.

3. QUESTIONS ABOUT THEMBA™
Is THEMBA™ safe to use on children?
Yes. In fact, we've had customers who have used this balm to great effect on newborn babies. It is always essential to carry out a patch test first though.
Can THEMBA™ be used on animals?
Yes. Customers have reported benefits when THEMBA™ was used on their pets.
What do people order THEMBA™ for?
THEMBA™ is used for general skin healing and is also suitable for viral conditions due to its anti-viral properties. Please contact us if you have any specific questions.
How long does THEMBA™ last for?
On average, from when you receive THEMBA™, it will have a 2-year+ shelf life at room temperature. Please ensure that the jar top is tightly sealed. In the unlikely event of minor discolouration, please mix the product thoroughly. This is harmless and is due to the Vitamin E present in the formulation.
How long will THEMBA™ take to work?
As everyone is different, this is impossible to say. Depending on the skin condition, you should generally begin to see results from between 1-3 months.
What is the difference between THEMBA™ and KUSWERA ZURO™?
THEMBA™ is an active skin healing cream based on an extract from the fruit of the Kigelia tree; KUSWERA ZURO™ is a night cream based on the African Potato Tuber.

What do people order KUSWERA ZURO™ for?
"KZ" is a moisturising night cream that can also be used for acne rosacea. Please contact us if you have any specific questions.
How long will KUSWERA ZURO™ take to work?
As everyone is different, this is impossible to say. However, we have found from customer feedback that results can be seen from between 1-3 months.

5. QUESTIONS ABOUT FILISA™
Are there other types of Sutherlandia?
FILISA™ is the Sutherlandia sub-species Sutherlandia Frutescens. Be aware that there are other sub-species of Sutherlandia in existence. All our information and studies are based on the Frutescens variety only.
Are the FILISA™ capsules suitable for vegetarians?
Yes, the capsules are “veggie caps” and contain no animal products.
Can FILISA™ be taken during pregnancy or whilst breast feeding?
We advise mothers not to take this product whilst pregnant or during the breast feeding period.
How should I take my FILISA™?
With meals, 2 capsules twice daily. We recommend with breakfast and with dinner.
Will FILISA™ interfere with conventional anti-depressants?
We would always recommend taking advice from your doctor before using FILISA™ with any anti-depressant medication.
Are there any side effects from taking FILISA™?
There are no known adverse effects but please make sure to take FILISA™ with food and not on an empty stomach.

Please refrain from taking an excess of alfalfa seed-based supplements whilst taking FILISA™.
