SUNDAY TIMES "What's the Alternative" recommendations

Health journalist of the year 2008, Jennifer Harper-Deacon, recommended THEMBA herbal skin balm to help treat eczema in her "What's the Alternative" column. You can download the article that appeared on March 9th 2008 here.

Last June we were mentioned in the "What's the Alternative" column with both THEMBA herbal skin balm and SIMBA African potato capsules recommended for psoriasis. Click here to read the article online - see the 2nd question.

Another mention was in the May 6th 2007 edition with a recommendation for our THEMBA herbal skin balm:
"...can be applied to the affected areas twice daily to relieve itchy, inflamed and sore skin (such as eczema)..."

As recommended by the Sunday Times "What's the Alternative" health column
Oshana

OSHANA - our new healing moisturiser!

OSHANA is an African word used to describe a "dry place where hidden waters flow beneath". We thought that this would be a perfect name for our new product.

Many customers who already use our THEMBA skin balm asked us for a moisturiser that they can use on the skin as well. We are very happy that we have formulated this soothing & healing cream.

We recommend that OSHANA be used as a moisturiser between applications of our THEMBA cream as it seems to accelerate the healing.

Visit the OSHANA page for more information and order onlline.

Actress Deena Payne (better known as Viv from Emmerdale) has also appeared in Now magazine , Sunday Mirror Celebs magazine and the Manchester Evening News.

How THEMBA cream helped baby Elise's eczema

Elise, along with her younger sister Eva, is one of many Little Herbal success stories.

Elise's and Eva's mother, Andrea, has very kindly written a feature specially for our web site about how our THEMBA balm and OSHANA cream helped their atopic eczema, a condition both girls have suffered from 8 weeks of age.

Elise's and Eva's mother, Andrea, approached Little Herbal when all else had failed to help treat Elise's child eczema.

Visit the Elise's & Eva's Eczema page to read more.
